In the Regional Investment Agenda (RIA), public authorities, entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions, under the leadership of the Arnhem-Nijmegen Green Metropolitan Region and The Economic Board, bring together their ambitions to strengthen the region’s economic strength, quality of life and sustainable development. Through joint decisions and investments, we are building a future-proof region that offers scope for innovation, talent and broad prosperity.
Lifeport Arnhem-Nijmegen Region is poised for a leap in scale: growth in population, employment and accessibility that requires targeted investment and strong collaboration. This calls for robust leadership to ensure a healthy and liveable region for future generations.
The Regional Investment Agenda translates this ambition into a coherent approach based on the components shownin the diagram below.
The regional investment agenda is the tool that brings together public and private investment into a single, coherent investment agenda for the future. It is an agenda covering all the key challenges facing our region: housing, accessibility and the economy, as well as nature, culture and health.
This investment agenda does not provide a complete picture. Nor is that our aim. The world around us is constantly changing. We update the RIA at least once a year.
