The chip industry is growing rapidly. How can you attract and retain sufficient talent (mbo, hbo and wo)? Knowledge institutions and leading companies are developing training programmes in project Beethoven to attract and retain sufficient talent. The future of chips at Lifeport

Semiconductors, also known as chips, form the basis of our digital society. They are found in cars, medical equipment, energy systems and virtually all modern electronics. The Lifeport Arnhem-Nijmegen region plays a key role in this. With more than 50 companies, over 10,000 employees and an annual output of approximately €3.5 billion worth of chips and equipment, the region is a major player within the European semiconductor industry.

Noviotech Campus

Noviotech Campus (NTC), on the former Philips site in Nijmegen, is the heart of the Lifeport High Tech sector. It is home to major global manufacturers as well as many young, promising start-ups. This innovation hotspot offers state-of-the-art research infrastructure and the best housing and support for entrepreneurs and researchers. More than 50 companies make use of it.

Chip Integration Technology Center (CITC)

How do you make sure those small chips are easily processed in the systems they end up in? Through innovative integration and packaging - a globally recognised specialism of Lifeport. The Chip Integration Technology Centre (CITC) is a booster in the ecosystem of companies, researchers and educational institutions working on this in Lifeport, together with TNO and TU Delft

Briskr - roadmap for entrepreneurs

Start-ups and other SMEs in High Tech often work on the most beautiful innovations. Only, they do not always know the right route to bring them successfully to the market. Briskr shows the way.
