Digital integral care
The demand for care is increasing, but the number of care workers cannot grow much further. Digitalisation can save labour, but employees must be able to grow along with it.
Through targeted training and hands-on support, the programme helps healthcare professionals better embrace digitalisation. This increases their productivity, reduces resistance to change and improves the quality of care. Besides developing courses and LLO offerings, we want to investigate how effective these pathways really are.
A collaboration of healthcare organisations, knowledge institutions and governments works on concrete methods and training courses. These help employees use digital systems, smart technologies and innovations such as AI in healthcare.
Together with MET from WZW, the consortium also wants to test the effectiveness of these methods: are employees actually becoming more skilled, productive and positive about digitalisation? Through research and practical testing, the training courses are continuously improved and tailored to the needs in healthcare.
The triple helix cooperation between healthcare, education and technology is crucial for the success of digital transformation. Connecting healthcare institutions with educators and IT experts creates a learning network in which knowledge is shared and digital innovations are applied faster.
It also looks at lifelong development (LLO) in the healthcare sector. How can digital skills be structurally embedded in training and work processes? This project is working on a future-proof approach in which care workers can continuously retrain and adapt to new technologies.
Besides training and research, Digital Integral in Care focuses on practical support. Employers are helped to implement digital innovations and employees are given the opportunity to practice with new systems.
By combining practical experiences with research and policy, this project contributes to a healthcare sector that is smarter, more efficient and future-proof. The ultimate goal: a digital healthcare environment where employees feel secure and technology serves patient care.
