As a vocational student, it can be difficult to find a work placement – let alone one that really matches your interests. And yet there is actually a shortage of vocational graduates in companies.
At Lifeport, we’re tackling this issue with the Internship Pact. This is an agreement between educational institutions and businesses in the region, with support from the government, to work together to ensure you can find an internship that suits you.

This initiative uses skills matching. This means that the platform focuses solely on your skills, rather than your qualifications. It also offers coaching and guides you towards a job.

The medical world is changing rapidly; as a young scientist with a PhD, it is interesting to explore what opportunities exist outside academia. Conversely, companies in the healthcare and biotech sectors are often looking for highly qualified, motivated professionals. Radboudumc’s annual Career Event offers an opportunity for these two worlds to come together.
