The Regional Investment Agenda: one plan for the future
The Regional Investment Agenda (RIA) is the instrument that makes this leap of scale a reality. It combines public and private investments into one coherent plan that brings focus, coherence and implementation. It goes beyond the economy alone: liveability, culture, accessibility, talent development and an attractive business climate are also central. Until 2040, the RIA will coordinate an investment package of tens of billions of euros, focusing on strengthening the top sectors Energy, Health and High Tech/Semicon, supported by digitalisation, innovation and sustainability. This will give the region a solid position on the national and international stage.
