Campus development (economic hotspots)

A campus is a physical location where synergy is created through the presence of government, education and business – the so-called triple helix. Campuses are integrated into the economic ecosystem of regions and act as a magnet for businesses to locate there and as a catalyst for innovation. A campus can take various forms, depending on the region’s ecosystem, the parties involved and the desired development. A regional campus goes a step further in that it is also intended, amongst other things, to retain talent in the region through education, attractive employment opportunities and a social network.
