Background, previous experience

Before that, he worked in the Amsterdam region on labour market issues as programme manager and team leader education labour market at the municipality of Amsterdam. The focus was on setting up, facilitating and scaling up public-private partnerships aimed at various labour market bottlenecks. Some great examples we set up or scaled up are the Amsterdam Stage Pact, the Green Tech Campus and the House of Digital.

"Now I will start working in the region where I come from and will be responsible for the realisation of the Human Capital Agreement. I am not doing this alone, but with the programme team and all private and public partners in the region. We focus on countering labour shortages, stimulating innovative projects and scaling up successful projects."
