Jan is familiar with the regional network around sustainability in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region. He builds alliances around an issue and assumes contributions from multiple parties. Networks are formed with short lines, allowing businesses, authorities, education to find each other faster, share knowledge and learn from each other. For example, he worked on making public transport and logistics more sustainable, circular economy and energy transition. The issues surrounding these themes cross municipal boundaries.
During his student days at the WUR in Wageningen, Jan discovered the Arnhem-Nijmegen region. You can work on great jobs in the field of sustainability, enjoy the landscapes in the border region as a cycling enthusiast and as a musician you can go on various stages. He experiences living and working on the scale of Arnhem, Nijmegen and Wageningen as a wealth. That is why he would like to contribute to the future of this part of the country.
