Are you studying marketing or communications and looking for an enjoyable work placement?
We have an internship vacancy available!

Who we are

The Economic Board works to strengthen connections in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region, based on economic strength with an emphasis on the so-called triple helix collaboration; with entrepreneurs, educational institutions and authorities. It focuses on the spearhead sectors Energy, Health, Hightech and Food. These sectors are the strength of the Arnhem Nijmegen region. The Economic Board stimulates innovations in these top sectors and the crossovers between them.

Among other things, the communication team is involved in rolling out an economic profile of the region under the name Lifeport, supports projects such as the Lifeport Circular Lab and the Human Capital Agreement Arnhem-Nijmegen Region, and gives partners and organisations a stage by presenting a Pearl Award.

This is what you will do

As an intern, you will be part of the communication team that works on strengthening the profile of the Arnhem Nijmegen region, Lifeport. During your internship period, you will work on the maintenance and management of various websites. You will support the writing of articles for the website and help create and post content on social media. You will also work creatively on the design of social media messages, flyers and invitations. You prepare and send newsletters and assist and think along with the development and implementation of various (online) actions and activities.

We offer

• You’ll be supported by enthusiastic professionals who, together with you, will ensure a fun, challenging and, above all, educational work placement;
• An informal working atmosphere;
• A vibrant and inspiring working environment at Campus Heyendaal in Nijmegen (within walking distance of Nijmegen Heyendaal railway station);
• A flat organisational structure with short lines of communication and plenty of learning opportunities;
• An inspiring and extensive network;
• In short, a dynamic and versatile learning and working environment where you’ll have plenty of opportunities for your personal and professional development!
