Would you like to gain practical experience and help put the Lifeport Region Arnhem Nijmegen on the map in the Netherlands and beyond?

About the Human Capital Accord
The Arnhem–Nijmegen region is growing rapidly – in energy, technology, healthcare and education. But growth requires people. That is why public authorities, entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions are working together within the
Human Capital Agreement (HCA).
Our mission: to ensure there are enough skilled professionals, motivated talent and a labour market in which everyone can participate.
We are driving forward three themes:
💡 Lifelong Development – learning and continuing to grow for everyone.
🤝 Attracting & retaining talent – from young professionals to experienced specialists.
🌱 Unlocking untapped potential – everyone who wants to work is given an opportunity.
The HCA is a network in motion: entrepreneurial, ambitious and focused on results.
What will you do?
As a coordinator, you will be the linchpin of this network. You will link policy, projects and people – and ensure that ideas actually lead to tangible results. A results-oriented approach is paramount.
- Working alongside the HCA programme manager and a small project team, you will be the face of the HCA – visible, inspiring and focused on innovation.
- You will monitor the coherence and progress of the HCA agenda and provide direction for new initiatives.
- You drive projects, support partners and translate ambitions into concrete actions.
- You bring parties together and create support among managers of governments, educational institutions and companies.
- You will commission quartermasters and consultants for HCA projects, monitor progress, monitor cooperation and steer for results.
- You identify opportunities in national and regional developments and cleverly link them to what is happening here.
