Helga Witjes

Helga Witjes is a Member of the Provincial Executive of Gelderland representing the VVD, with responsibility for, amongst other things, Finance, the Economy and Innovation, and Sport. She believes in the potential of the region and the power of collaboration; you may go faster alone, but you go further together.
Helga Witjes started her political career as a councillor in the municipality of Lingewaard. There, she was an alderman since 2014. Since 2021, she was a member of the executive board of the Green Metropolitan Region Arnhem-Nijmegen.
